The Time

Halloween was enjoyable! Sascha went as a Steampunk Renegade, and Tommy was going to go as an alien, but he decided the mask was too stuffy and gross. He ended up walking around with the rest of the group as himself, wishing the little boy Wyatt would pay more attention to him, and watching as everybody else ran up to doors and received candy. He witnessed as, at one point, Sascha asked a little girl what she was dressed as. The little girl replied, "Cindi Lauper." Sascha, having had a moment of forgetfulness, said, "I don't know who that is." The little girl gave her a strange look and said, "Your mom will know." Then she walked away. Sascha felt shamed and humiliated when she finally realized who Cindi Lauper was! Oh well, it was something funny to look back on.
On the second night of Trick-or-Treating (on actual Halloween), Tommy went as a '70s Hippie, and he looked adorable. Good times were had all around.

Then there came... November 6th. It was a glorious day full of adventure.... The Glee Project casting call - first day! Sascha asked her friend Jacob if he was going, since music and all that was totally his thing... He'd said no. His car wasn't in any shape to take a trip like that. So she thought, well, that's all right, and she sent in a video audition instead. Next thing you know, Jacob, who also sent in a video audition, got an oil change and was setting a course for Chicago after all! Not only that, but his girlfriend, Kaitlyn, would also be coming along, and auditioning! It was all very exciting, and the best part about it was that Tommy would be coming along!
The trip there was uneventful, but that was good. They all arrived around 3:15am, and realized they wouldn't even be opening the doors till about 8am, and registration wouldn't begin until 10! Tommy was so patient, considering friends and family would be unable to go with the auditionees. Auditioners?
Anyway, it ended up being a fantastic day. It was lots of fun. They all met a bunch of wonderful people, inclusing Samuel Larson, one of the winners of the first The Glee Project, and Robert Ulrich, the Glee Project casting director.
It was a wonderful experience that none of them will forget. Probably.

Minion was deeply missed while they were away. He's just the cutest little thing on the planet, though underneath it all, Tommy is sure he is plotting some evil, diabolical plans...

Stop messing with my hair...

It's not Halloween yet, but Tommy and Sascha are going trick or treating tonight with her sisters and her dad's girlfriend. They're going to St. Louis, so it should be awesome! She's going as a Steampunk Renegade, but Tommy doesn't have a costume... Their mission is to find him one, so they're embarking on a journey to do just that.

Minion the Mean has diarrhea today. It's the most disgusting thing humanity ever smelled. Chemical warfare, indeed.
